As most of you, my life is in my BB. What is the best GPS application that I can use to find my phone if I lose it?

I am not looking for GPS tracking that shares my location. I am really interested in finding a GPS tracking application to find my phone if it is lost or stolen.

You should use Roblock, for one thing, to remotely wipe and disable the device.

For tracking it, you could use something like Google Maps with Latitude running, to locate it. As long as it is running and the thief doesn't turn off the device.

You could also try smrtguard. It can both track and wipe your bb. It will also backup your info on a daily or weekly basis.

I wouldn't count on ever recovering a lost BB. Back up and/or sync regularly. Keep a device password on it. If you're really worried about losing it then get insurance coverage.
