Default Unlocking 8100 Pearl

Please Login to Remove!

Hey All,

Long story short I was in the park today and found an 8100 that someone had lost. The battery was dead and the phone has sustained some slight cosmetic damage. It's a T-Mobile device and I was wondering if it could be unlocked with the SIM disabled? I use Cingular and currently have an 8700. I would like to change over and use the Pearl if possible.

Thanks in advance!

Report it to T-Mobile as lost and try to return it to the owner.

I agree, turn it in and do the right thing. If the owner reports it as lost, then it will most likely be useless anyway.

it will be useless for you , because the IMEI number will get blacklisted by T-Mobile. this means, that pearl will turn into a nice paper weight....

i agree to turn it in, let it be refurbished as a replacement model for someone who has a warranty or an insurance plan.

i totally dislike your moral and ethical stance if you want to unlock and use the phone.

It's the wrong thing to do. But we can't stop you.

In fact, I think this message thread should be locked.

You remember that saying...

"finders keepers, losers weepers", don't you guys?

And come on, with that lame story he probably just stole it.

The same think kind of happened with me, except the fact that mine was thrown out the car window, had NO sim card, and was at a factory reset, so I kept it and now it's my camera
