If you use the call waiting feature or three way calling, those minute goes against your anytime minutes even if both calls are mobile to mobile. Mobile to mobile should not go against your anytime minutes but it does when using those features. I was absolutely stunned when I found out. Once you answer the second call those minutes start counting against you even if you switch back and hang up the first call. The minutes count against you for the entire second call. Like many others, I use the call waiting feature almost every time I'm on a call. I called Sprint and complained and informed them that I was not aware of the change. I went over my minutes for the first time ever and couldn't understand why. Now I know. How many Sprint customers out there knew this?

I did. Also, minutes apply to checking your voicemail... Call waiting and 3-way calling are not "standard voice calls", therefore fall under the "other indirect methods" as specified in the plan description for the anymobile/anytime feature.

I also believe the minutes count against you if you are roaming when you place or receive the call...

Ruff you are correct. I also found out about roaming also. All of these little things add up to costing you many minutes per month. Free mobile to mobile is not all its cracked up to be.

We are primarily texters... last month, we (4 lines), used 80 min airtime, 760 min anymobile, 8800 texts, and 100 min nights... No where near our 1500 min airtime limit...

I think the anymobile feature is better than anything else out there. Sprint has the best plans IMO. Note that with anyone else (i.e. Verizon, AT&T), you would be paying an additional $30/month on top of your plan just for having a 9630.
