Default Purchased A BlackBerry-Setup Help

Please Login to Remove!

Hiya. Me and my brother have brought a BlackBerry Curve 8520, and we are struggling to work out how to set everything up... I have looked at the manual on the CD and we don't know what to do.

Any help is much appreciated
Thanks

Setup what? Everything covers a large area.
Email? Blackberry messenger? how to enter contacts?

And do you have a BlackBerry Internet Service Data Plan from your phone service carrier?

I would recommend taking the manual and your phones and when the manual tells you to do something try it out.

Maybe he can't turn it on. That would explain everything.

why dont you start by asking specific questions ( a few at a time) and you will get responses.

Hi
Thanks for the replies.

Well, we know how to turn it on (Thank You)
I have got the BlackBerry App World on there now.

I don't know what a BlackBerry Internet Service Data Plan is, so maybe thats a good start.
Also, how do you set up your email/internet/BBM
Plus, how do you download apps to your BlackBerry...

Many thanks

You need to contact your phone service carrier and tell them that you want to have the BlackBerry Internet Service on your phone. It will most likely be an additional charge.

Once you have that, you will be able to set up email, use the BlackBerry Browser, use BlackBerry Messenger, and download apps.
