when I enter the unlock code says "code accepted" but hang and remove the battery and restart and then is locked again. what is going on here?

What unlock code are you entering? And can you please rephrase your problem using real sentences and bit more description of what is happening

when enter mep code it shows code accepted and hangs on that.i have left it for hours but doesn't boot.i have to remove the battery.i have reinstalled os,inserted locked sim,closed all connections but no use.and this is the old security as there it is 02 in imei.
