Default any ideas for a stereo blue tooth

Please Login to Remove!

i have a blue tooth that i use on a regular basis, but the music player will not play through it at all.
when the phone rings it does not play the tone i selected only a ring ring type noise and occasionally i will hear a text message ring through the ear piece if its on but its not constant.

the head set works fine for the calls and the music, but i do not wear it in my ear while i am working like i do the blue tooth.

all day i am using my phone to call for parts so the cord does get in the way. and i dont like to have to change the buds out for if i want to listen to music at lunch.

i have since started using my regular mp3player for lunch time, it does have a bigger selection of music but sometimes i forget it or its run out of batteries.

i currently use a jabra BT160

although i am quite annoyed at the fact that when i do use the bluetooth function on my phone it kills the battery quickly and i have to do a hard reset on the phone to keep it from dieing over night. and i do have to occasionaly swap batteries out durring the day while its in use (since i dont have time to charge it and i do have a charger at work) i still like to use my bluetooth on a regular basis.

What's the question?

I've never had bluetooth cause such drastic battery drain nor require hard resets on my 8310. I'd suggest checking to see if there's some other cause or if there's something wrong with your 8310.

Definitely the Motorola S-9 Bluetooth Stereo Headset! It's awesome..great sound and decent call quality. I highly recommend it and use it almost on a daily basis with my Curve.

I have gone through 5 pair of S9 headsets, ruining them always within the first two uses just by them getting wet with sweat. Granted I'm a heavy sweater but I only run for 45 minutes and they are designed for sports...

Fortunately Motorola has been really good about replacing them each time although it takes a few weeks. If they didn't die on me they'd be fantastic. There's another new set that's almost waterproof named JayBird-200 but it isn't compatible with the Curve yet.
