7290 vs. 7250

I am having a difficult time deciding between upgrading my 7230 (TMO) to a 7290 (ATT/Cingular) or 7250 (Verizon). I see the advantages/disadvantages as follows:
7290
Generally very good ATT/Cingular network
Historically crummy ATT customer service
International use
Modem capable
7250
Excellent Verizon Network
No international use
May be modem capable (not proven yet)
May be EV-DO capable (rumors only)
I am not considering the TMO 7290 because their coverage currently has gaps in areas critical to me (though I love their pricing and customer service). I travel internationally only rarely, so GPRS is an advantage over CDMA, but not a huge one. If the 7250 were to be proven to work as an EV-DO modem, it would seal the deal for sure.
Is there anything I am leaving out? Is there any new intelligence about EV-DO on the 7250?
