Default One lingering problem

Please Login to Remove!

But it is starting to tick me off now. Many times a day, when I pull the 9800 out of the case, Manage Connections is open for whatever reason , and one or more of the connections are not checked - i.e. Network, WiFi, etc.

I guess I keep hitting the touchscreen in the upper right corner, but it is really starting to be a real bother.

Maybe I need to post this in rants and raves.

Anyone else notice a similar issue - and any solutions other than don't touch it?

And that's the major reason I gave up on the Torch.

I just might do the same, once VZW comes out with something better than what they have now.

Just lock the screen before you put it in the holster, it took me 2 days to get used to doing that.

This is the same issue I logged in my thread:

http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...ch-screen.html

The best suggestion I received was to get a theme that didh't have the touch area on the top right corner.

Good luck.

Yeah - I gave up on the Torch before alternate themes were out.
Not going back anyway - but that's a good solution.

I don't use the standard theme on the 9780. The constantly moving views got to me also.

I have pattern lock and sixtools, the mute button is used as an extra convenience key,it is set to turn backlight off and pattern lock auto locks when backlight goes off put my phone in my pants pocket, no problem with invert touches. I don't use a case,I suppose this concept could be the same with a phone case.

Dude, that used to bother the heck out of me until I found an alternative theme that moved that stuff away from the obvious place you pull it out of the holster. I'm very happy now, but man did that used to piss me off! I'm running the Crossroads Theme and have been happy ever since the install.

Dub,
I don't have any problem what's so ever with invert touches on the touch screen using pattern lock in conjunction with sixtools. Iam using the stock theme also!

I have the stock theme. Been trying to remember to lock before putting into the holster as adperdue suggested. Harder than one would think to get used to doing that however.

Get a mistress. All one needs is the proper motivation. To avoid butt dialing the main squeeze at an inappropriate time! Sheeesh. What did you think I meant?

I never had any luck with the lame lock that rim put on this device. It would unlock while pulling it out of the holster.

You just can't appreciate the genius of having a single button press turn off the feature that prevents inadvertant button presses.
