I tend to charge at night so every day is a full battery to start with.

I make about 30 min of phone calls, surf through out the day.
Play MP3s on way to work.
Face book updates every 3 hours, twitter, 3 RSS feeds, 2 BBM groups, BBMs all day long and also connected to BES.

Does anyone else have an issue with the Camera (sometimes) not working with .246? it loads and all functions seem OK but won't actually take a picture.

My camera works just fine. Have used it quite a few times since this upgrade.

I had the same issue. I was taking pictures and noticed that it was not actually taking them. I entered and exited the camera a few times and it eventually started to work...Tried to get it to fail again and it has not...If you find that it is happening again and a workaround fix or what is causing it, please feed back ..I will do the same..

There has been a leaked os just about every week now. Wonder if there will be a new one tomorrow.

Now I'm having the same issue... Bummer. I was trying to catch a nice situation... The flash lights up, but no picture. Rebooted... Works again... but slow... and I missed the scene.

Looks like the 9800 is finally coming to Canada tomorrow (after a false start for Sept 24) with all 3 major carriers, Rogers, Bell and Telus (yes Bell and Telus, CDMA cariers overlayed their network with HSPA+ a year ago - get in the game Verison and Sprint) selling it on-line today and promoting for their stores tomorrow. I hope to get mine tomorrow, and would like to have the latest OS, particularly after reading that early AT&T OS's did not work all that well. I have downloaded .246 in anticipation of upgrading the OS as soon as I get my 9800, but see that you, Knottyrope, appear to have OS .279. Is this a missprint or are you actually on .279 and if so where did you get it?

I just downloaded this one today, and did the install...working fine so far. We'll see tomorrow with a full day of use.

On a side note, one of my co-workers has tried to download it twice now and it's not working for him. It times out while he's downloading it? Mine went fine, but he's having some problems. Anyone else ever have this issue?

If not already known, this exact version is the version that ships with the Rogers Blackberry Torch I picked up today on the first day of the launch.

Is anyone else experiencing unclear camera pictures with this version? Compare it to pics taken with the original .141 and it is quite blurry. All of the cameras settings are identical and this is a side by side camera comparison....
