I think i will wait this one out and wait for 4.1 release from rogers or if there anyone finds the link when RIM releases it on their download site.

I had it running great, all but the bluetooth wireless sync and I made the mistake of downloading the theme. If you go into themes there is now a download option, I went to the site and downloaded the theme then the whole darn thing went buck wild...

Long story short, I had to pull the battery, have the java wipe command on stand by then hit enter just before it locked up. What a knight. I also could not get the theme I created via plazmic to work. Everything looked like stick figures or outlines.

I will do round two in a bit. Now this is fun!

hmmm didn't have any problem with themes either the ones from RIM's page or the one's on here!

I must admit it does have some nice improvements over 4.0, plus overall seems a lot quicker with fewer hourglasss spins (although unfortunately still has it's times when it frustrates me), however I do like the instant on from shut down!

Got it loaded however I get an "uncaught exception:java.lang.IllegalArgumentException" error when i try to activate the insight icons theme.

Anyone know how I can fix this?

*EDIT*

Wiped the handheld and reloaded the software. Still getting the black and white "none" theme. Found settings > theme clicked on insight icon and only gave me the option to close. pulled the battery but it didnt do anything.

Anyone have any ideas?

Delete your c:\documents and settings\username\application data\research in motion folder and retry again.

It is remembering your theme and uninstalling the default one, causing the black and white one to appear.

If you've loaded any third party programs their records will be removed as well so it won't prompt you to reload them if you remove them.

Another option would be to reload the OS while logged in as a different user.

Slower booot up time but faster response time once it is booted.

i deleted the vendor.xml file to load my 4.1, but can't activate my enterprise activation. not sure if the two are connected, but does anyone know how I can restore enterprise activaction? It just hangs on "activating" even if I purposely mistype the email address and password.

Any ideas?

If you are on BES 4.0 or higher, the admin is probably going to have to send you a new activation password.

Decryption key failure indicates that you must connect your BB to Desktop Manager, go into Security and generate a new key.

Are you on a BES?

Cool

Loaded on my 7290, no problems at all and everything including 3rd party apps work fine. Slow on the boot time, but seems faster once its up.
