We have deployed over 50 7250 devices on OS 4.02. and need to upgrade them to OS 4.1. Because our user community is somewhat technically challenged we would like to upgrade all of the devices form a single system in our IT services organization.

Can someone point me to a doucment or process for this?

Heck, easiest method would be to simply install Desktop Manager, configure it to NOT use a profile (prompt and then cancel) and do them one-by-one. Just install the multitude of OS's for each device, delete the Vendor.xml file (search on this forum for the location) and run with it.

Or if you have BES rights, do a remote manager install and use the Handheld Config Tool (or BB Manager depending on BES version) with a USB hub and you can upgrade muliple devices at once and re-provision them at the same time.

We've successfully upgraded several devices and discovered that we can do multiples. We've run into two issues, though.

I have BES admin permissions and we are currently runnin BES 4.0. We're about to apply SP4.

One.
In the HCT we have version 4.0.0 and 4.1.0 available. 4.0.0 expands so that we can select components for installation. 4.1.0 doesn't.

Two.
We have on device (our other BES admin) that will upgrade to 4.1.0 on my workstation. When upgrading on his workstation there are no graphics. It boots into a list view, kind of like the default theme isn't there.

Any ideas on these two issues?
