I'm recieving "duplicates" of all messages sent to me on my 8800 through Google Talk.

For example:

Me: Hi
Friend: Hey, what's up?
Friend: Hey, what's up?
Me: Not much.
Friend: Cool.
Friend: Cool.

Ok, my conversations aren't usually that dull!

Any ideas?

i've had this happen to me a few times.....sometimes it doesn't do it....sometimes it does.

Try reinstalling? Not sure, I have never had this problem.

Yup, I've seen this too...No exact pattern on when it does it though. Normally when I just exit out/sign out and come back in it works fine the next time.

I've seen this when someone is sending me messages from IM+ to my Google Talk. I've seen 3 and 4 messages at at time. The sender would switch to the Google Talk app and it would stop. I don't know if it happens from other IM applications. Annoying, though.

another thought.....are you signed into gtalk on your box as well?
