Hello guys,
Hope you all are doing fine?

I, yesterday, purchased my blackberry that is 9700. When i got it home i ran the device manager and it updated/installed the software that needed to be done and now i have v5.0.0.593 (Platform 5.1.0.147). Also i have subscribed to blackberry services to my carrier as well that is ZAIN in Riyadh, KSA.

The problem is that whenever i try to install Facebook application or twitter for that matter of fact any it starts the download and in the middle always gives the error

Invalid COD 907
Stream Closed

Also when I tried to install App World it said that my device is not compatible with this. :( :( :(

I have been to every forum and have seen this forum too but i cannot seem to find the answer.

I have tried that but when i go to where he takes us the only two options i get is Zain WAP or Hotspot Browser...

Please Please Please help me out here. Really need your help guys. Getting frustrated with this problem.

Call Zain and tell them you want to subscribe to a BlackBerry Data Plan. You need it.
Sounds like they didn't add it when you asked them to the first time.

@penguin: Bro i sent sms on 700400 for which they have cut 99 SR from my credit and sent me through SMS that i am subscribed. Is this what you are talking about or Data Plan is something else?

I have no idea what any of that means. I think you should just call your carrier and verify that you have the right data plan.

Ok i did that and yes my Data Plan is activated. I tried adding my email accounts and they are sending and receiving emails. I can also browse the sites. The problem is exactly as i explained in the post. Guys please helppppppppppppp

Really sorry but didn't get you. Can you please clarify. I have so many things to download but this probelm has been a hell for me. Please suggest.
