Default BB 8700c Bluetooth status light

I figured out how to turn off the status light on the 8700c for network, but how do you do that for bluetooth status ?

Darn thing keeps blinking blue, and I do not want to have to disconnect to stop the blink.

You can not shut off the blue light for Bluetooth. Pretty annoying after awhile...

Speaking only for myself, and I am unanimous in this, I'm going to LOVE having a status light that actually does something other than just blinking red when I have a new message!

But then again, I just generally like status lights on phones.

I am with you and would like to be able to look accross the room at the office or home and see if I have a message or even have service.

I do understand that to some the blinking LED is "disturbing".

I REALLY want the Bluetooth status light to be a "switchable" option. I keep my Blackberry in a cradle on the car dash and have a Bluetooth car kit. Having the blue light on is somewhere between extremely annoying and a safety hazard

I like the status light for messages and the such, I just do not want a light to tell me that I have my SE HBH-610 Headset on

Switchable would be nice, but I guess we will have to wait until the next software rev
