From the above web site: " OS improvements include built in spell check, full screen mode for playing videos, the ability to create your own folders on the home screen, and move any applications in and out of those folders!"

It sure would be nice to have a software upgrade for current users that had this feature.

Talking very nice indeed ...

i can't wait for this Blackberry to drop . I'm on Cingular/ at&t and I'm holding my breath replacing my beloved 8700c with the 8800 so I think the 8300 with camera and other features will be a nice addition to my Blackberry lineup . I wonder when oh when will this 8300 be released ???

I'm surprised that the demo unit is on Cingular. You figure T-Mobile w/ their Hotspot network would be more inclined to jump on a WiFi enabled device to save themselves a little money by throwing people on VoIP when available.

BGR usually gets Cingular demo units and insider information before T-Mobile information...

Ok what the hell, Cingular is going to come out with TWO new blackberry's before T-Mobile gets even one? I can't see T-Mobile being stupid enough to let that happen.

Its not just the network he's on, he also states that it came with an "at&t" theme...

edit: "at&t branded"

Cingular/at&t might time the release of the 8300 with the release of tmobiles version of the 8800...

Note the moved charger contacts, making any drop in charger contraption incompatible between models.

Sorry guys, not terribly excited about this one. The pattern of these releases tends to be excitement about camera. Release. *****ing about camera. Teases trickle out about the next great thing with a better camera.

The shiny back looks creepy if it's going to be mated with a dull black rubber group.

Keys look a bit easier than the 8800, but other than that I'll be on the sidelines until I read non blog reviews from real people.

Ill hold out with the pearl until the 8300 comes out for T-Mobile " if it ever does ", 8800 is not for my needs so im skipping, even if T-Mobile releases it.

Rumor has it that there are TMO 8300 eval units with WiFi. So I have my fingers crossed.

One thing I'm excited about with this unit is the ability to have FULL SCREEN VIDEO! Dang that gets annoying looking at buttons on your screen taking up all that room.

But is there GPS on the 8300? If not it will be a tough choice between the 8800 and the 8300!

Not positive so on release carrier so don't want to post unconfirmed info...one question actually is that I want to extract the 8300 Sample Video, not sure if it's possible because it probably will be a .cod file. Any ideas?

Check the comments on BGR's article, he confirmed in there that it does have GPS...not a tough choice now
