Default Desktop manager error-image file About_RIM_Background.png cannot be loaded

Please Login to Remove!

I just got this phone and installed desktop manager off the disk provided by AT&T. After starting desktop manager I click on media manager and the following error is displayed...

Image file "file::C:\Program Files\Common Files\Roxio Shared\9.0\Common Resources\Shared\Generic\Images\About_RIM_Backgrou nd.png" cannot be loaded

I have an ok button so I click on that and it says the same message but for AboutMM.png

Then I get and application error for MediaManager9.exe that the memory could not be read, then it closes. Any idea how to fix this?

I read somewhere that Mass storage mode support needed to be disabled so I tried that and it didn't help.

1. uninstall the current desktop software from your computer

2. download and re-install from here:
BlackBerry - BlackBerry - Sys Req V4-2 Pack 2

GOOD LUCK!!

I uninstalled the previous version and installed V4.2.2 SP2 and I'm still getting the same message.

This sounds like an issue with the Roxio installation. Did you uninstall DM AND Roxio?
