Is the Blackberry.com site not allowing BB messenger to be donwloaded anymore? I deal with BB on a daily, but for some odd reason my 8800 new install did not come with BB messenger but my coworkers did, who got hers the same day I did with mine. I connected and did a wired download from BBerry's site, and it said it downloaded it to the BB, but honestly can't see it or find it.

Please help since we use it to communicating with one another.

I don't think the one on mobile. blackberry . com will work on the 8800... You need to load it from Desktop Manager »» Application Loader then make sure BB Messenger box is checked and load it that way...

That's correct. You can't download BBM over-the-air for the 8800. The version on the site isn't compatible. You must load via the App Loader using the 8800's handheld software install.

Hello all, I have an 8700g/tmobile & I have never used my blackberry messenger. After convincing my sis & husband to get BB's, I want to download it, problem is, it's not on the list of applications. Am I missing a step....any help would GREATLY be appreciated. I'm smart, but no wizard with this stuff.

from your handheld, go to mobile.blackberry.com/downloads and select Blackberry Messenger. It will download, install and let you run it immediately.

If you are on a BES server through your office, it will show that it's been downloaded, but it will not appear anywhere other than Options>Advanced Options>Applications. It will not allow you to Edit any of the permissions to allow the program to actually run. This is something you need to address with your IT guys. I've been looking for quite some time so that my fiance can use it. No luck so far.

If I had internet....I was on the phone w/TMO CS & somehow ended up removing my browser/internet & adding the enterprise activiation icon...I'm in customer service HELL right now for the third time, so pissed off I didn't go to school for this kind of stuff......thanks for the advice, will try as soon as I get my internet back.....

alib21, while are on hold, go to Options > Advanced > Host Routing Table. Click to REGISTER NOW.

Pull the battery to reboot, see if your browser comes back?
