Thanks for the download, however, I have never been able to figure out how to install a JAR file to my Blackberry. I do not wish to purchase a JAR to COD converter and I have no site to upload the JAR file to access it OTA from my Blackberry so how does one get the JAR to their Blackberry?

Thanks

Default hello

Hello, you are welcome
Well honestly the easiest way to install is to. Simply copy the .jad and .cod files to a memory card, using the EXPLORE function of the media app to locate the .jad file, and install the .jad/.cod files from the phone itself.

Thanks for the reply but I am still confused. If it was a COD file I could make an ALX file and I would have no problem with COD files but you stated to put the JAD and COD file on memory card??? Your zip has JAR not JAD plus CLASS files?? I have not idea how to do it with those types of files. Can you help there?? Thanks again

Considering John Carmack recently ported Doom Classic to the IPhone for profit, I doubt he'd be happy it was being distributed here.

Not sure if he linked the same one, but there's this:

Free Doom / Wolfenstein 3D JAVA Game For BlackBerry | BerryReview.com »

it's not really "doom" so much as it looks like wolfenstein...they just called it doom..also they link to jar2alx file to install..

Thanks once again for the post! I copied the files to my memory card and that worked to install the game on my Bold but the game was only the size of 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch so I deleted the game. Not sure why it was so small but thanks
