I am going to travel to Indonesia in April 2006
I am wondering if my Blackberry 7130e will be functional in Indonesia...I have Verizon...not sure if they offer international coverage...I am planning to use it only for email purposes.

No. There is no CDMA network in Indonesia, thus no roaming.

Correct. There is no CDMA. However, Indonesian carriers do offer BlackBerry service there on the GSM/GPRS network and if you have a BB from T-Mobile or Cingular you can roam there.

That's true, but he would need to have an additional service and device besides his 7130e.
