Default Separate BIS & POP emails on Verizon 7250

Please Login to Remove!

Is there any way to separate BIS & POP emails on a Verizon 7250? Currently all end up in the messages folder.

Situation: I currently have all emails from the a comcast server fowarded to BIS account -- works great no issues. Get emails almost immediately.

I just got a new work email that needs to get the emails as a POP servers -- kinda sucks because of the 15min or so dealy it takes the BB server to go and get them.

Now there is the POP folder with the emails coming in twice.. and if you delete the message from one folder its deleted from both.

Any thoughts or recommendations on how to separate the two?

Sorry, but you can't separate them. That is how the BB works. All messages go into the messages folder and also to their own separate folder. Delete it once and its gone everywhere.

You might try hiding the messages folder and leaving the other two (or how many ever there are visible, but then you wouldn't see missed calls and text messages since they all go to the main messages folder.

There's no POP client on the BB. You're either BIS or BES. If your work email is POP then it's also BIS and it should have its own icon.

you are correct, both are BIS --- the work email is pulling emails from a pop server every 15min. The other i have being forward to [email address] and masked with the comcast address so i can get them faster.

Any way to add a folder for the blackerry.net account in addtion to the messages folder?

thanks for any thoughts in advance

The @vzw.blackberry.net account is also BIS... and therefore should already have it's own mailbox icon on your Blackberry.
If it doesn't, then log into your BIS account and resend the service books.
Also check to see if you inadvertently hid the icon.

If you have two BIS accounts set up on your Blackberry, you should have 3 mailbox icons. 'Messages', 'BIS Account 1' and 'BIS Account 2'.

'Messages' is a consolidated box and will show mail from both of your BIS accounts.
