Default calender sync program

Does anyone know of any easy to use and of course free software that allows you to sync certain applications (mainly calender events or tasks) from the computer to the blackberry? I know I always enjoyed being able to do this when I had a PocketPC and a Palm.

Use your Desktop Manager to sync the BB to MS Outlook, that is the most seamless and foolproof way.

For a different style of idea that I enjoy (neither free or desktop oriented, uses a webserver of your choice) take a read here:

http://www.blackberryforums.com/linu...inux-unix.html

Besides solving a linux problem, this method enables me to keep everything "in the sky" which is better for my personal style; I treat workstations as disposable and keep everything on servers (mail, calendar, etc.). I fully expect my laptop hard drive to die at any given moment (even though it probably won't) and treat it as a dumb client for data.

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830: BlackBerry8830/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

Rivviepop,
I do it the way, JSanders suggested.
How complicated is your approach?
