I remember a way to create a custom folder/hotkey in the Messages view. I cannot seem to find this in the manual and searching the web/fourm got me know where.

Does anyone recall what I am referring to?

As far as I know there is not a way to create folders under Messages. Im not sure what ur referring to as for the hot keys. There is automatic hot keys under Messages, for Ex. 'c' will compose, 's' will search and so on....

You can't really create "folders" per se, but I think what you're asking to do, you can do.

Click trackwheel and go to search. Craft your search using the criteria that you want to show (example, e-mails only FROM a certain e-mail address). Then, instead of searching for it, click save. Assign a key to it, so that when you hit Alt and that key, it will filter that custom search.
