Everything you've mentioned is a natural part of growing up as I've already said several times, so I'm not going to continue arguing with you. You need to wake up and smell the acetone.

That website doesn't do anything except solidify the fact that your eyes are glued shut, your ears are plugged, and your mind is closed. Open them all up, take a step away from the computer, and THINK about what you're saying. You're advocating absolving a person from their duty as a parent to train their children to be good, moral people and replacing them with the Government. This is totally and completely WRONG on all levels.

You're right on. As an advocate for children, I promote the advocacy of children gaining self esteem and confidence and it improves their learning habits. Bully behavior should never be accepted. Kudus to you for your advocacy.

If others want or need more links for advocacy, I'll do the research.

Seriously? Everyone else, including myself, has said the same thing as angelbear and you argued with us. Now you agree? You're worse than Sen. Kerry about making your mind up. Your credibility is now officially shot.

I have NEVER stated in this thread that a bully should be accepted or that behavior. I have advocated for children for many years against behaviors that lead to another child possibly becoming disfunctional, i.e. not able to learn in the classroom or attend school at all because of be bullied. I point no fingers to what a person on this thread has stated they used to do or be, only note what bullying can lead to.

I didn't say you did. Reading is fundamental.

My wife is a teacher and at her school if someone fights back they can get into more trouble than the bully. Is making people passive the right answer? I hope that a bit of talking can stop a bully but there are times that I realize that the solution that Ralph used in A Christmas Story is the only solution.

There are no set canned answers for every person.

" and psychological (spreading rumors, manipulating

Sounds like the goings on of a normal group of high school girls. It's a jungle out there, and how well we learn to survive on our own goes towards who we become in the future.

I believe being teased and excluded from things when I was younger is the reason I grew up to be such an odd and funny person, I don't think I would have more than 10% of the personality I have now, if I grew up popular and never being made fun of. This is why fat girls have awesome personalities.

Lunkhead,

I was wondering when you were going to weigh in on this subject.

I'm learning to appreciate some of your comments, even if it is late. Sometimes in my haste, I have typos.

Stack,

Most of my typos are when I'm on my BB 9630. The keyboard isn't as large as the one with my PC and my fingers are larger than the keys on my BB.

What is "Stack" supposed to mean?

Also, if you were posting from your 9630, it would say that you had posted wirelessly, so try another excuse.
