hacker/extortionists have victimized the cellular carrier through
a massive network breach resulting in the theft of untold amounts of
corporate and customer data, which they're threatening to sell to
the highest bidder."
I'm not worried about the competitors getting hold of the data. But the personal data includes SS numbers for the credit checks and enough other information that they could just screw a handful of the customers and make out like bandits.
