Samsung sales are dropping in the last reports. Interesting because either users are keeping the old cells or going for cheaper stuff.
Apple has the same issue. IPhone 6 sales are not as good as wanted.

Market is saturated and likely new sales are mostly replacements due to age or change of carriers. If government made another major change in requirements such as the analog to digital change with snooping feature requirement on new phones then sales would increase.
