Do you have a memory card installed? If you're low on free internal memory due to ringtones/pictures/videos being stored internally, that would explain it. Deleting those or moving them to a memory card may help.

If that's not it, you may have something corrupted with the OS. Perhaps it's time to bite the bullet and update your OS to 5.0 (link at the top of the 9600 forum).

Got a warranty? Might have to give it in and get a new one.

You've already done the obvious and updated to a newer OS.

This may sound crazy but it worked for me, , Browser-BB button-Options-Cache Operations-Cookie Cache, and hit clear.

YES ! clear your browser Cache, that will correct your camera.

Hardware issue, if you have a warranty call it in.

You have eliminated all software issues. Only other thing you can do is fully wipe the BB with JL_CMDer and reload OS from there. (see the FAQ section for that)

Its a hardware issue. I have tried all of the above to no avail. Will be interesting to hear what out telco provider say was the issue if indeed they even look at it.

They most likely will not look at it.

You just end up with a new one. (most likely)
