Whenever I send a request to someone to add em as a friend I get this back in my ymail inbox:

But nothing appears in my Messenger.

When someone adds me I get this appearing in my ymail account:

But again I can't do anything with it as nothing appears in my messenger. Can anyone help. My friend is trying to add me form Canada.

I think this is a default email message but the fact that nothing is showing in Messenger could mean that your friend has Messenger blocked by a policy, BES???

Its to do with the relay you are provisioned on. In canada your in the North America relay and unless they have moved it to Slough now then in the UK your on the UK relay based in Egham.

Last time I checked to BB message both BlackBerrys have to be provisioned on the same relay

bbpremier, TBH I do not agree at all with what you are saying.

I have BBM contacts with people all over the world. It is not relay specific.

OP, have you tried adding each other in BBM using PIN codes as opposed to email addresses?
