Default Sim Free Help Please

Please Login to Remove!

I have bought a Sim free BlackBerry 9700 and put my T-Mobile UK BlackBerry enabled Sim card inside it.

Twitter, Facebook and BlackBerry App World will not connect, they are complaining about APN settings which I am having trouble locating.

Is there something I am missing, should I load a t-mobile approved OS update onto the phone?

My device is registered in the BlackBerry Internet Service and I am able to send an receive email, and as best as I can see my BB Messenger service is working.

I will continue searching but any help would be appreciated.

T-mobile UK apn = general.t-mobile.uk

i tried that and it works for BB App world. However facebook and twitter still don't work. In addition I looked at my online billing and T-Mo charge me £1 per 1MB as it routes traffic over the 3G network instead of the BB network

Question:
Do you have a blackberry booster only or do you also have an internet booster/unlimited internet as part of you plan?

Here's why:
Blackberry booster is required to use all data features of a blackberry.
However its 50MB fair use only applies to data of emails.
To use apps and internet, you need their internet booster/included in plan to use their 1GB fair use policy.

By the way, you should be able to find out by loggin to "my t-mobile" online and looking at your plan.
