I know that it doesn' t support mp3 functionality out of the box(HA, NOW YOU CAN'T CLOSE MY THREAD), but does anyone know of some 3rd party java apps that may enable them in some way?

upgrade to a pearl or other device running 4.2. HH SW. Problem solved.

do you want to play mp3's? or just convert them to ring tones?

ringtone conversion is all I would like, and a link to a free .mp3---->.adp converter would be great
