I've got a user on a Sprint 7130e who is in an area that only has 1X coverage (not 1XEV) We've been trying to get him activated, but when we try a desktop activation it has me make the new key by moving the mouse and then just says "Working" and sits there forever.

We tried an enterprise activation and it does "verifying encryption, encryption verified. Waiting for services" and then it hangs with no further progress.

He purchased the phone himself from a retail store and I was wondering if maybe sprint has a separate package for BES that he needed to order but didn't.

Data is working, he can send and receive PINs. He's got the latest HH software, Desktop 4.1, BES 4.0 (not sure of the SP)

As far as I've ever seen, Sprint only has one BB data plan ($39-$45 depending on whom you ask) and it works just fine on BES with no special steps needed.

Sprint has a plan called Easy Office which is essentially the BES outsourced. The cost is $20 per device with a one time activation fee of $15 per device.

Ok well that's all I needed to know, I just needed to make sure they weren't blocking the traffic since Sprint is not one of our usual BB providers, we just had a user out in New Mexico (Almagordo, I think) that claimed that Sprint was the only company that could give him usable service.

Easy Office is a cost above the cost of the Blackberry service.
