I am a fairly new user and trying to get comfortable with the reliability of the bb (using vzw).

1. When I am in an area of moderate to poor reception, it seems that I am able to successfully send emails but I am not able to receive. Is that possible?

2. Then the messages are not there when I get back into EVDO territory. I have read on this forum that i could change my settings in Outlook so that the messages are left on the server but then isn't there the risk of filling up my vzw server (my email is verizon.net) and having nothing come through?

haha, no you will not single-handed fill up your server..promise. and you will have to check the "leave a copy of message on server" for it to work successfully.

Do the messages have a red X or a clock next to them? If the red X, select the message and chose Resend.

No, I am not getting the red x - the messages are going out fine. I am not able to receive. That is the part that is confusing. Does it make sense that I would have weak but sufficient reception to send but not to receive? Thanks.
