Default 9360 internet

Please Login to Remove!

Could anybody tell me if its true what i have been told that i will not be able to use the internet or any internet related services if i dont subscribe to the blackberry service plan. I am wanting to get a sim only plan with internet but have been told it will not work. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Yes. That's correct. You need a BlackBerry specific Data Plan in order to use BlackBerry Data Features.

This is confusing, as for the past 12 months I've been on a plan that doesn't included BB services and I've been able to use the web with no problems, it just comes out of my data allowance.

That's correct; under certain plans you can get to the Internet, but no push e-mail, applications or BlackBerry Messenger. Which is what a BlackBerry is designed for.

Depends upon the carrier and, as NJ said, the data plan. Some carriers will not even allow wifi access without a BB data plan.

Yes... some service providers allow to connect to wifi but still you cant use the BB services like BB App world and stuff. Initially even I did connect to wifi without BB services and could use only browser internet....
