Before BBF went down, some people had posted about problems with the new version of JiveTalk. I decided to wait a bit before upgrading. Is anyone still having problems or has it been resolved?

i have yet to have a problem except for occasionally it will simply not connect to there server...

there was a problem where the messages weren't being sent...i reported it to the beta team, and they patched it up..works fine for me now..great piece of software as usual!

Wierd, I have had nothing but problems with it since updating it. it cant login half the time, the other half the time it times out.

I haven't had any log in issues with it except the first day I upgraded it it. Since then every so often I get the "Error 503, message body "SEND CONFIRMATION timeout" messages and it's driving me crazy. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled it from the OTA and still get the messages a few times a day. I have full signal strength.

Jivetalk was working great for me earlier today, but now I am unable to connect to any services. I've tried AIM, GTalk, and MSN.

It just sits there forever trying to connect.

I've power cycled my phone and this still happens.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I was getting these error too. I downloaded the new version when it was first released. There was a thread here before the site crashed saying that they patched this. You need to download it again. I did this and all has been well.

I spoke to the developer last night and he told me that the first build of 1.05 did have a problem with the time out error (ERROR 503) but they have posted a new build on the website.

All you have to do is go to the upgrade option on Jive Talk and reload v1.05.
