Im on the phone with Cingular's BB support team about rolling back my BIS 2.0 to 1.8. The tech mentioned RIM's coming on Friday to raffle a few 8300's and do some sort of training launch.

Sounds reasonable and would be inline with AT&T having availability by end of May.

While you are on the phone you should ask them about BIS 2.3 which is available in the UK and rumored to be coming to ATT/Cingular.

I can't wait as it seems to solve my issues with 1.8 and 2.0

sounds believable, and yes this would prove the much speculated end of May release to be true! Lets hope it pans out!
