I'm in the media player menu. I play a song, grooving to it. I press the back key to get out of there. The music player is still playing. I'm playing around on my home screen look at my pretty icons. I decide to turn my music off but don't want to find the media player screen, then the music screen then the now playing screen and pressing "close." is there a faster way to turn the music off from the homescreen? a shortcut key perhaps?

From the BB icon screen, click the BB button and select "Now Playing." That will take you directly to the media player playing your song.

If you're on the home screen, clicking the BB button will take you to the icon screen, click BB button again and so on.

I don't know of any way to turn off music playing w/out getting to the player screen...you can mute it from anywhere via the Mute button, of course.
