According to the tech support guy I just spoke to, the trackball/ringer issue is going to be fixed, but the memory card issue will not be addressed. He didn't seem to swift

I am not saying this to be mean or anything... just being honest.
If your comments are examples of your being honest and NOT mean, I'll let everyone else judge your intellect and maturity.

As to my OP, yes I could have given a one-liner like you might have, but I prefer to support my posts with foundation and evidence [guess its a lawyer thing, to explain and support the reasons for saying something]. I was expressing an opinion on why I will be waiting before installing the T-Mo update and giving some reasons why I will be doing so.

Fact is, throughout the Net non-mental-slob people recommend not installing patches and updates when they first come out. It's sometimes better to wait and see how things pan out. I assumed people would benefit from reading the logic behind my comment.

You have been on BBForums a lot longer than I have, so I guess you have enough standing to get away with your snide comments and posts. Whatever.

Bonus Tip: I suggest you read the new rules posted by the Site Owner on how to conduct one's self when posting. You might in fact get kicked off the site, unless you are a co-founder of the Site or buddy buddy with all the mods and the owner, in which case, have a good laugh at what I just said.

This post took a sharp left and ended up in BFE.

I nominate that it be closed.

My point is that they're not the same. If the other updates don't fix the MyFaves problem, then obviously they're not the same exact update, regardless of version number.

Where's my :rollseyes icon?

YES THEY ARE!!! If the other .64 didn't fix the issue, then this one won't either.

This is a classic. Roll on.

Will I be able to download this from the T-Mobile site without a phone number?

I am using mine on Cingular right now and I am not even sure if I know anyone with T-Mobile.

I've tried both rogers and the O2 update and I can say that the O2 drains the crap out of your battery and has shut my phone down a couple of times for no reason. I personally like the Rogers update but will try the TmO update to see what it does. Hey by they way I am new here What's up guys

In before thread lock.

For SF, this release -has- been out for weeks now, and it has proven to be a good upgrade. I'd be very suprised to see if there is any improvement over the already released .64 version. I'd be happy to be wrong though...

I would agree for the first few days i had the o2 update i was really against it... but it did make the phone abit zippyier... after that, i basically have a full battery all day until about 9-10pm... I have blackberry messenger and gtalk on all the time... use the camera... make 1-2 hour talk on the phone... about 50-100 emails a day. i have 4 pop accounts polling.... not to shabby... but the first few days were the pits.... however i have yet to have the phone freeze, lock up, or reboot itself.

What is truly amusing about this thread is that it is Friday and the rumored OS isn't up yet.
