Default InfoSpace Find It! is going away

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I just wanted to warn everyone that InfoSpace Find It! will soon stop working. The business line was bought by Idearc Media (of Superpages fame) and they have decided to stop supporting Find It!.

We had a lot of great features for the next version--among them a refreshed UI, Voice search, updated maps--but it wasn't to be. The team's off to other companies to continue doing cool mobile software so maybe you'll run into something we worked on in the future.

Thanks for using Find It!, and take this as a warning that it'll just stop working sometime soon! We really appreciated all the comments and feedback from the forums.

Thanks for the info. Appreciate it. Hard to compete with the Googles and Microsofts. Keep up the good work.

One of the best free apps for the BB to date. It's a shame the new company is phasing it out. :(

That is one of my favorite free apps. Especially when I am on the road. I'll miss it.

Default bye bye Find It!

Hi all, this is Jeff... I was the Product Manager on Find It! and worked with Scott and the team. I have already moved on.. but wanted to express my sincere thanks to the loyal "fan base" we had collected over time and a thanks to the team for building such a great product. Find It! will be missed!

I was always truly impressed with the Blackberry Community and the willingness to give us feedback, and help us progress. Should I find myself in the situation again to need your assistance, you can bet I am coming back to these boards to post about any new ventures..

Cool Superpages

Sorry to hear that. I was just looking around the Superpages site and found their BB program (wap.superpages.com/l.htm) and I have to say compared to InfoSpace's Find It... the new software stinks! Hope the next upgrade is improved.
