I'm almost certain they have or are soon coming out with one at Seidio.com.

Buy a RIM® BlackBerry 9700 Bold Charging Pod (Silver), #ASY-14396-011 - eXpansys UK

I guess some of you guys are from the states, but a charging cradle exists for the 9700 already. I've got mine through eBay.

And yet the one on the official shop blackberry website is completely different
BlackBerry Accessories UK Store - Product Detail

Also, the one in that link appears to be the 8900. Because the charging contacts are in the wrong place. On the 9700 they are in the same place as the Bold (at the sides) not at the back as that image suggests.

Ouch. You are right about the contacts. I'll see when it comes through. Won't be happy if it turns out to be the 8900 one.

I got the crackberry one. Works great except you have to take off the skin (if you have one) and I find that to be frustrating.

What about the charging station. I have the POD but would like to have the power station like I had for the Bold I. Anyone seen them yet?

Also waiting for the Invisible Shield or Best Skin Ever to be release for the 9700.

I already see the OEM Gelskin is out.

But once the charing pod and IS or BSE comes out, i'm picking me up a 9700

Picked up an OEM charging pod in T-Mobile branded packaging at the store when I got my 9700 today. Was $30, so for the $5 over crackberry's price I was able to bring it home today.

Works as expected, the light on the front is now a very dim one right behind where the BB is placed. When I say on the front I mean the old 8320 series had it on the front and I think the 8900 did away with the LED completely.

Anyway, if you're at a T-Mo store, look for the white box by the cases for the 9700.

Yup, for sure it's out in the wild in some locations. This was a T-Mobile owned corporate store, so perhaps it's a dealer only thing. They had 5 of them, 2 were left when I grabbed mine.

Ones on ebay scare me still, they have the back side contacts like the 8900 has in the picture.. Couldn't find the cradle on t-mo's website, but the part number listed on the bubble wrap holding the stand is: ASY-14396-011

If you google search it, looks like it's available at a few sites already..

I can confirm my one from eBay is an official 9700 Blackberry cradle (same as the official site). Good 'ol eBay and at 10 quid cheaper too!

BlackBerry Bold 9700 Desktop Cradle Pod ASY-14396-011 on eBay (end time 17-Dec-09 10:22:41 GMT)

Anyone from UK, the link is above.

So despite the wrong image it is the correct model?
Id mention that to the seller to clarify.

I did ask, but they said they wouldn't change it regardless. I'm sure once it's officially out, eBayers will start changing the image to the correct one. Anyway, it's pretty funky with a nice rear indicator light.

They wouldn't change it?
Not a particularly good seller then.
You'd think they would want people to know exactly what it looks like, a) instead of being asked all the time, b) so people don't just see the image and buy it for there 8900, c) so people would actually buy it, instead of thinking, "well the image is wrong, not buying incase its the image not the title".

Sigh. lol

I got mine for about $25 about 2 weeks before the phone was officially released on amazon through crackberry from Blue Harbor online. So far its more chorme than the 8900 pod and has a faint white led light where the 8900 had a weak regular light. and the logo is on the back this time.

Bodyguardz has a 9700 covering out. 2 sets with the order instead of 1 and still has the lifetime warranty so you can get the third and after for not too much.
