IF your on BES, you have to get your BES administrator to unblock injector API. Its in the instruction manual for the blackberry setup. If you don't hav ethat, go to the link i put up above, it includes the manual.

I sent an email to mine admin and he got it working.

However, i then i had to go into my BB go to options, advanced options, applications, then to click on the itech keyboard driver, go to edit permissions then change them all to allow.

it worked then.

for someone with more patience to learn to tpye on it, it will be fantastic.

Typing tips -
1) raise the sensitivity through the driver or functions listed on the back of the VKB
2)make sure you're typing from above the keyboard. Typing horizontallyish may set of letters on the way to your target.

Injector API - might also need to set the security settings on the individual BB (Options/AdvancedOptions/Modules/[VKB-Driver] and set to 'Allow')

I have the 8700. Once my iTech VKB powers up, I will try these suggestions. In the meantime, my VKB shipped with a small battery. What do I do with that?

I have acquired an I-Tech VKB and have had no luck trying to get it to work with a BB 8703e. There seem to be several drivers (none with the unit) to try, but even when the Bluetooth connects, I am unable to type.

Has anyone made this combination work?
