Default Blackberry smtp servers down?

Please Login to Remove!

There is a whole bunch of blackberry redirector messages stuck in the queue of my smtp server directed at etp1103.na.blackberry.net.

Tried a manual telnet to it but was refused. Somebody should let them know that someone tripped on the power cord!

Anybody else seeing this sort of behavior? (Which translates into delayed messages/ undelivered messages )

We are all fine...sounds like just you! Maybe they have flagged you as spam??

Or maybe your STMP outbox server is down....

Not sure about the servers, but I cannot log into my page to add or remove email accounts, from my phoen or my laptop..Been trying all morning.

Is anyone else having issues with Verizon's http://bis.na.blackberry.com/ site???

All I get is this message: The site cannot be accessed in this manner. Please use the URL or link provided to you by your service provider.
and from my phone I get a 404 error but mail is still coming through.

NOw if I do manage to get onto the site from my phone it tells me my password is wrong, and Im not understanding that, but when I do the forgot password thing, it says sent to your device, then it says try again, but I never get it.

Something is not right.

That link is not to be accessed from the phone itself.
You should going to the BIS portal using a web browser on your regular desktop computer... not the BlackBerry.

If you have the 'Setup Email' icon on your BlackBerry, you'd use that.
If you don't have the icon, then you use the link above in a computer's web browser.

detfan, is your BB (I see where you bought it used) registered with VZW, by yourself? Have you ever changed the settings over from the old (previous user) account to your own?

Yea its registered to me, I have been using email on this thing for over a month now, My BB email address is on the phone along with my others im getting email through all of them as well.

FOr some reason today I cannot log on. I only decided to log on because I have a new 8830 coming Monday ,and wanted to get all my accounts info so I could transfer them or change the pin number, whatever I had to do..

Problem is I cannot log in..from desktop or my bb itself. It has worked for me from day. Only thing I can think of is trying to set up a new account when my new phone gets here.
