Default class javax.microedition.media.playerListener not found

Please Login to Remove!

I get this error when I try to run a application on my 7100t blackberry. I converted a .jar application to .cod and when I put it on my blackberry and try to run it I get that. I have the newest firmware for my blackberry and I use jde 4.2

Default j2me support

i am a j2me developer working on some mobile video software.

I am pretty sure that the older blackberries the 7100s and possible the 8700 without firmware support don't support MMAPI type of operations.

The 8100, 8300, 8800 should work with your software, however the music and video support will vary depending on the firmware.

Hi,
I am having the same problem on my 7130e.

I just updated the device with the latest firmware for the carrier. The JAD/JAR works with no issues when it is loaded OTA but when converted to COD format via...

rapc import="C:\SDKS\J2ME\BLACKBERRY_JDE\lib\net_rim_ap i.jar" codename=MIDlet -midlet jad=midlet.jad midlet.jar

The build fails with error 'class javax.microedition.media.playerListener not found when attempting to run it after loading it to the device.

Any ideas?

Default 7250 PlayerListener

I'm getting "PlayerListener not found" when i try to execute my app. Although I'm not using and even import any of these media classes. Any ideias?

Using JDE 4.2.1 OTA loaded.

Thank you very much,
Artur

Red face Does anyone ever respond?

I'm having exactly the same problem with the 8700. The many postings go back months. Does anyone ever respond to these issues? It works fine on the 8830 and 8800, but I'm trying to support some slightly older models with our app.

Color me frustrated.
