Default anyone used those 8700 unlocking websites? reviews?

Please Login to Remove!

https://www.eaccessinc.com/unlock-request.htm

http://www.gsmlocker.com/blackberryunlock.asp <-- this one seems to be 3 times more then the other ones?

http://www.gsmphonesource.com/reunforatcib.html

i'm trying of just rying the $45 one..? but i don't want to waste $45 and no one ever contact me..etc.

the $75 seems a bit decent.

I just find $150 a bit steep

it would be to unlock an 8700c i'm trying to get. and i'm in canada so i'm not a cingular customer in the first place

thanks
Nick

I highly recommend gsmphonesource. I believe it's a one man shop, so do not expect quick turnaround on emails and phone messages. However, once they get confirmation of your payment of US$45.00, you should receive your unlock code & intructions within 24-48 hours. I got mine in less than 24h

I did gsmphonesource via eBay on Wed of this week. Submitted the request at 12:30ish EST and received my Unlock code about 6:30 pm EST and everything worked perfectly.

After purchasing via eBay I just waited to be notified via email.

You provide the Model # and IMEI off the phone and they do the rest.

Many others on the forum have done this and that's why I decided to go that route as well.

Once I had the unlock, I popped in my T-Mo simm, called to add the BES Add on for BB service. Within about 10 minutes I had my 8700C configured and activating on the T-Mo network.

So far no problems at all.

I used GSMPhoneSource to unlock my 8700C to run on T-Mobile. They provided perfect service and I got the code exactly when requested with excellent instructions. No problem at all moving it to T-Mobile.

Ditto on GSMPHONESOURCE

I got a phone (Cingular) already unlocked from Adam and activated on T-Mobile without a single issue. Adam got the phone out to be same day and with requested overnight service (added $) I was up and running by noon the next day.

Yes, I tried their service...they couldn't "break the code" to unlock my BB8700r so they refunded my $$. I don't think anyone can unlock a BB8700r yet. I wonder why it is so difficult to do so compared to the unlocking of 8700c?

anyone have a contact for Rogers where I can get it unlocked? Even if it is $250.00. Everytime I call "worldwide services" they tell me that they can't do it (as of July, 2005). They refer me to the internet.

I also tried GSMLOCKER, which couldn't provide a code and refunded my $$$.

thanks!

I just got my BB8700r unlocked with the help of Mike (mike@myblackberry.us)
I have no financial ties with this person. I have been waiting so long for Bongowireless to have this available so am glad that this one worked well and it was done remotely.

How much do you charge? Everyone who can unlock a cellular phone or wireless handheld such as the blackberry will give their price so can you? Do you have any feedback besides what DocGo had posted? Lastly what is myblackberry.us all about? Are you just an unlocking service or do you offer other services? I've never heard of your company.
