I bet it'll be $9.99 + the 3.95 shipping... which would be about a 1000 percent profit margin, but not abnormally high. If it's a cent over ten bux it'd be a ripoff, but seideo is usually pretty reasonable.

I would not assume it's a 1000% profit margin. They have solid materials, R&D, marketing/sales (website). I'd expected $10-15.

Clearly you've never been in the industry. Cost on a car charger (far more complex) for the average company is about $0.25-$0.75 and this would be more simple. Probably not the bulk, but the bottom line they charge what people are willing to pay.... but either way.

I thought I'd want one but then looking at the way they're designed it could be detrimental to have a speaker opening, plus having the red back looks really nice, making it rubber black would be somewhat uglier.

(14.95 is a little pricey for just the back cover, unless you can print our name on there too!)

14.95 doesnt seem bad. I think the oem one is the same price.
