I may be missing something, but could this be achieved with the autotext feature? I use autotext to type my 7 line long signature out whenever I press "zz" and hit space or enter. Pretty nice feature to use for shortcuts to canned replies.

Are you talking about something different? You can use variables in the text that is typed, but I'm not sure if you need to build a dialog with this.

you are wrong. verizon is great, you will not find customer service like their's anywhere else.

they are much cheaper than nextel...and EXACTLY the same price as ATT....plus their service is the best in the country.... not to mention In calling is free and is currently the largest network in the nation.

Why would you get a cellular anywhere else, unless your corp. paid for it?

Ya thats why I ditched verizon. I am a gadget freak and am tired of them not getting any gadgets. Sure they are good for normal phones, but look at their PDA phones and blackberries. VERY outdated lineup excluding the Q. And when they do get something, they are last to update their stuff.

I'm sure when you entered the post it read "Rumor Mill" not "Confirmed Release Information Forum"

So give people a break - the purpose of a forum is to discuss issues and share information . . . not be given the 3rd degree for information they cannot verify . . . . . . so count to 10 then post will ya. . . ..

Confirmations are great - but unless its an actualy RIM post/release/press conference from RIM themselves - its not official is it?

Really. I have no reason to doubt what my AT&T rep is telling me under NDA. They've been straight up with me for the last 5 years, you think he wants to PO a customer who has 6000 some BB's and is adding 150 a month?

Mark, I agree with you. This is the rumour mill thread, whatever you hear post it. Give me a break, what do you guys want verification by RIM themselves....

I think the point that dawg is trying to make is that a rumor has to be substantiated by something. The word "proof" is a bit strong, but a reference to a corporate or consumer sales rep, patent claim, or tradeshow leakage at least gives a rumor some basis in reality and a means for evaluating its likelihood.

The question is: What is the source?

The whole "proof" issue started when wickwire stated "confirmed" with a company and a date. It sounded to me like he he was stating that is is no longer a rumor. If he had said "I heard"... There would be no debate about "proof" right now..

I would expect "confirmation" to come w/ something stronger than "a sales guy told me..."
