I'm using a Cing...AT&T 8800 with Vodaphone software, and I had a dog of a time trying to do a 3-way call last night. 9 times out of 10, when I tried "joining" the calls, I got a Operation Failed popup, and then the thing went to heck and I had to pull my battery.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Sorry to reply to my own message, but my boss who has a Pearl has the same problem -- could it be a BB - AT&T problem here in the Bay Area? Can anyone else check to see if they have the same problem?

same thing happened to me - it was a faulty SIM card - I even swapped out phones via warranty but never changed SIM. . . I'd get it checked out. I had a Cingular 8800 with a Cingular original SIM but now received a AT&T 8800 with a new SIM and haven't had any problems so far

I have this problem occaisionally on the east coast, but have not been able to fiigure out what causes it. It just comes and goes, but not often enough to make me call customer support.
