On further investigation, apparently the white Pearl can be other things besides "girly."

I'm a dude and I use it. I like it because less people have it, and the buttons seem to be built better.

I didn't think I'd end up liking the white one but I do. If I can find an unlocked one online I'll definitely buy it.

I did not know that the white Pearl comes with a PINK case.

Does this fact affect the "girly" poll?

I think so.

Sidenote: Guess I can vote by proxy in here on behalf of T-Mo.

I think the white one can be every bit as professional and sophisticated as the black one! White is an equally strong color as black, the world is just full of black things. Black computers, black phones, black suits... Well what if I would rather have navy and chocolate, and white? Maybe it just works for me.

It's not the white pearl that comes in a pink case, it's a tmo blackberry 8100 pearl case (white OR black). The inside lining is the tmo hot pink (like the T) not specific as a "pink" case.

I guess I also take some offense to the implication that a "girly" phone cannot be professional. You guys obviously have issues with high-powered business women...but that's another issue all together.
