I lurked around this forum for months before I ever registered and I think it's been a month of more since then and I still haven't posted anything. Today, for whatever reason, seemed like a good day to thank everyone for the great deal of help they have (unknowingly) provided to me. I learned more about my blackberry in a week from reading this forum than I did in over a year of playing with the thing.
It was this forum that saved me from giving up on blackberrys altogether as flawed technology. My first blackberry was a 7750 and it was 75% frustration. It was only after reading that this model was an exception, not the rule, that I decided to purchase a 7250. I have now become a raving believer in the inherent superiority of the BB and haven't looked back
So thanks again to all the extremely helpful and knowledgeable people on this board. I've generally made it my personal policy since about 1996 to stay away from message boards, as they never seemed welcoming to (ignorant) newcomers to the field of interest, and the longtime members seemed to take great pride in ridiculing these poor souls. Perhaps I spent time on the wrong boards back then, but I'm extremely glad that I gave this forum a second glance, because I thoroughly enjoy visiting it every day.
Kudos to you all for creating such a great community.
