Exclamation PC Fails to recognize connection, Flashing LED (101111) Unresponsive device.

Alright, Here's the main problem. My blackberry Curve 8530 won't turn on. When the battery is in or it's plugged into the computer or wall charger the LED flashes red in the following pattern: Blink Pause Blink Blink Blink Blink

Now, I know how to fix that problem, but there's another problem keeping me from getting to that point.

When connected to my computer via the USB cable, the computer fails to recognize the device is connected. Not through the Desktop Software, or the AppLoader program. The computer itself doesn't even make the standard USB ding ding noise.

I have attempted connecting the blackberry to JL_cmder and wiping it to no avail. The most important problem here is getting the computer to recognize my device, once that is solved I can do the rest myself.

I have read the thread stickied at the top of the forum and done everything it suggested to recognize to blackberry. Still nothing. Any help is appreciated. I'd like this thing to work. Thanks guys.

Try a new battery. Unless it is minimally charged the BB wont work so if itxxx8217;s defective this may be the issue

I tried it with my girlfriend's brand new blackberry's battery and the same thing happened. My battery isn't holding a charge anymore though. I think I'm just going to take it to the Telus store and see if they can help me out. I've pretty much exhausted my options from the internet.
