It simply runs in the background. If you DON'T touch your screen at all during your call, your screen image won't change -- it only activates when you try to touch the screen.

Once you make or recieve a call, after about 3 seconds, if you touch your screen (lets say, to grab a contact or to call up your keyboard) you should see a splash background and a slider about 1/3 of the way up on your screen. Touch anywhere on the left side of your screen and slide your finger across, left to right, and the screen should unlock for you.

If that doesn't work, you might want to go back to the site and reinstall...

I have installed it 2-3 times and it still isn't working. I can answer a call and still hit speaker or contact. It is running in the background but isn't activating at all.

I have reinstalled i a couple times but I did not delete it. So I am now going to delete it and make sure it is completely removed and then reinstall.

No, I uninstalled it and redownloaded the program and installed it. The program never ask for permission to access the phone. I wonder if tis is part of the issue.

A: When a phone call is connected, TalkLock adds a system-wide Lock screen during call menu item. Use this menu item to re-activate TalkLock until your call ends. When your phone call ends, TalkLock will automatically release control of the touch screen and remove this system-wide menu item.


What the heck does that mean. . Mine works fine. . but when i unlock to activate the speaker phone. . .it doesn't lock agian.

Mine was working great...now I'm getting an "Uncaught exception: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError" everytime I reboot...or re-download the app.... too bad...because I liked it! Hopefully soon it won't be beta!

my bad...I put in a graphic after I followed the directions on their website in the FAQ to change the image....after I deleted the .png file and reinstalled it's back! I think I'll leave it alone now....as the function of the software is more important than the image.

So I have a question, once you slide the TalkLock, i noticed that it will not re-lock. I was in a conversation and needed to mute so I unlocked using the slide, hit mute, took the phone off mute, but the TalkLock did not activate again. Is there a setting for this? Other than that, great app!

Hit the blackberry button (menu) on the phone and in the list will be a choice to lock the screen. Since it's not free anymore, I use ScreenLock

I still have TalkLock on my phone, since I found it months ago, and its still free. Is there soemthign I didnt know?
