Please Login to Remove!

I called T mobile today and asked if it cost money to use the bb messenger when you have the plan with the email and internet. They said yes. The other day I posted if it cost money..and you guys said no... so i am just wondering which is right?

Money for what?
They probably got it confused with SMS messengers.

BlackBerry messaging via PIN (wish is what BB Messenger is) does not cost additional money if you have the BlackBerry Data Plan from your carrier.

If you have some unlimited internet plan from TMobile, that is different. Without the specific Blackberry Data Plan from your carrier, you will not have the ability to PIN message at all.

So in other words....no. Once you have a data plan, you can use the bbmessenger with no extra charges.

and this is different than the normal (Yahoo, AIM, etc) messengers, right? With those, they use SMS to send the IMs.
I have bb data plan but not unlimited SMS, so I want to make sure using bb messenger won't count as SMS.
